I'm a renter:

Neiybor prides itself in being a safe and friendly community where hosts and renters can connect. To ensure this safe environment, Neiybor requires hosts and renters to verify their email address, phone number, and ID as well as uploading a personal bio and profile photo. Space ratings and reviews also help to protect renters as it encourages hosts to provide a high quality experience for the renter.

Yes, Neiybor currently offers insurance for stored items as an additional cost to the renter. However, renters may choose to purchase private insurance to provide coverage for expensive or easily damaged items.

Hosts are expected to set expectations on how often you can access your things. However, renters are given either 24/7 Access or Upon Request access as stated on each storage space listings.

Hosts must give 4 weeks advance notice before renters are required to remove their things from the storage space.

Neiybor allows hosts to set their own prices for their storage listings based on location, size, and storage space features. In addition to the host’s asking price, there is an additional processing fee in order to cover transaction and verification costs.

Payments are made before or on the first day renting. If you know exactly how long you need storage space for, you select “Set Dates” and pay the full amount with the first payment. Otherwise, automatic recurring payments will be made each month following the first payment.

Neiybor accepts all major debit and credit cards.

After you have removed your stored items from the host's space, you may visit the My Rentals page of your Dashboard, view your current storage rentals, and then cancel your storage rental.


I'm a host:

Absolutely not! Listing your unused storage space on Neiybor is 100% free.

Neiybor allows hosts to set their own prices for their storage listings based on location, size, and storage space features. However, Neiybor builds its base of renters by providing affordable storage options at roughly 50% the cost of traditional self storage.

In order to provide a safe and secure online marketplace for all users, Neiybor chargers renters a 15% processing fee in addition to the hosts asking price. The total payment amount, including the processing fee, is reflected on the checkout page before renters make a reservation.

No. Both host and renters are ID verified through Neiybor’s platform and hosts are not legally responsible of the stored items.

Neiybor provides maximum convenience to hosts by allowing them to be paid via PayPal, Venmo, or check. Hosts are required to provide information on their desired payout method on the Host Payment Method page of their account in order for payments to be paid out on time.

Hosts are either paid 1) 30 days after the renter's first payment, or 2) after completion of a partial month's rent.
